Hard steel

Only use appropriate grinding tips and grinding blades. This increases the smoothness of the scratch surface, making it easier to scrape.

Only when the surface is cleaned, shaved once or twice, and the whole surface “carries” the bearing point (” point “).

Hard steel can only be scraped with hard alloy blades and negative cutting corners. The use of coolant (cutting fluid) will help cut.

The main plate and the straight side should be blue – in very sparse conditions, with a suede or hand ball. Applying too thick or too uneven blue on the motherboard results in the wrong pattern.

Red dots are recommended to blunt the surface. Red lead is not allowed OSHA!

Remove all scrapings and burrs. Brush away the remaining loose particles.

When the blue is in, the main plate or the main straight edge should be continuously moved, small circular motion, applied relatively small pressure. Excessive or uneven pressure can lead to the wrong bluin pattern.

Do not move the motherboard to the edge of the artifact. Adding weight and pressure on the edges can lead to errors and erase blue patterns.

After the initial first pass, the blue surface, then begins to remove the largest belt points, the surface scraping, which will lead to large Spaces filled with no bearings. A point is introduced only when the bearing points are evenly distributed across the surface.

Repeat the process until 60% to 75% of the entire surface is made up of bearing points, depending on the accuracy requirement.

For advanced precision scraping, it is best to use an optical or electronic inspection device, such as an automatic collision, interference comparator or laser beam to check the accuracy.

Hard alloy scraper blade should be ground and grinding with diamond grinding wheel.

Re- leaf blade frequently; Only sharp blades can take down small chips and give you good results with minimal effort.

Always clear blue from the parent. Use kerosene or cleaning fluids and cleaning agents or bare hands, as dupes or other cleaning materials will have batting or similar.
